Eligibility Criteria

Secondary Teacher

• Must have passed the teacher eligibility test conducted by the Central or Bihar Government.
• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. 5% relaxation will be given in the minimum marks for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class and Disabled.
• Before the implementation of the National Council for Teacher Education Act, B.Ed. From a recognized teacher training institute. Or after the implementation of the Act, B.Ed. From a training institute recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. degree.
• Candidates having graduate reputation/equivalent qualification will be given surcharge for appointment in the relevant subject. For creation of permanent posts in the school, Alim and Shastri subjects including graduation in the subjects mentioned in clause 2.2 and 2.3 of Resolution No. 1355 will be considered as equivalent qualifications.
• 3 years teaching experience as a graduate teacher in a recognized +2 school.Along with Bihar state, +2 schools recognized by other states and central government are included. Regarding educational experience, if the representative has worked in a government school, in such a situation the educational experience certificate issued by the District Program Officer (Establishment) will be accepted.In case of being an employee of a non-government school, the educational experience certificate issued by the Principal/Headmaster/Principal of the concerned school will be accepted, provided there is clear evidence of the candidate’s payment for the said period through the bank.

Higher Secondary Teacher

• Must have passed the teacher eligibility test conducted by the Central or Bihar Government.
• Post Graduate degree with minimum 55% marks in the specified subject from a recognized university. 5% relaxation will be given in the minimum marks for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class and Disabled.
• Before the implementation of the National Council for Teacher Education Act, B.Ed. From a recognized training institute. Or after the implementation of the Act, B.Ed. From a training institute recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. degree.
• Candidates having graduate reputation/equivalent qualification will be given surcharge for appointment in the relevant subject. Application Fee

• Candidates have to deposit Rs.200/- as Biometric fee for each post (Separately).
  • Note:- Those candidates who have mentioned Aadhaar number as identity card in the online application will not have to pay an additional fee of Rs 200/- (two hundred) as Biometric fee.
