Bihar Post Matric Scholarship is a government scholarship scheme for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (BC & EBC or OBC) in Bihar. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to students from these communities who are studying at the post-Matric level such as Inter, Graduation, Post Graduate, ITI, 3 Year Diploma/ Polytechnic, Medical, Engineering, Law, Management and Agriculture Courses etc.
Government of Bihar has invited online application for Post Matric Scholarship 2023 for the academic year 2022-23. Those students who belong to BC & EBC category and SC & ST category, can apply online through PMS Online official portal – www.pmsonline.bih.nic.in.

Reasons for Rejection of Applications on the PMS Online Portal?
- Not Resident of Bihar
- Not belonging to BC, EBC, SC and ST Category as approved by Govt. of Bihar
- If not the bonafide student of the applied institution.
- Not registered Institution and not studying in Government Competent Body approved institution as per norms of department.
- Incorrect Caste Certificate , Income Certificate and income not under specified limit of scheme
- Non Upload of caste, Income certificate
- Incorrect course and year of study.
- If Student not uploaded all documents like Student Photo,BonafideCertificate,CasteCertificate,ResidenceCertificate,Income Certificate,
- Student Previous Degree, Previous Exam Marks Sheet
- Invalid Bank Account details or not in the name of student.
